The god of thunder has returned, but this latest adventure doesn't look quite as light-hearted as his first. Making his first post-"Avengers" appearance, Chris Hemsworth is back in "Thor: The Dark World," Marvel's newest tale of Norse mythology, and a new trailer for the film, helmed by "Game of Thrones" director Alan Taylor looks more like a fantasy film than a superhero one.
"Thor: The Dark World" picks up after the events of "Marvel's The Avengers" brought the superhero team together and the New York City to the ground. Now, Thor is back on his home world Asgard, and his adopted brother Loki is imprisoned for his role in the attack.
