Roxanne Cabañero Acosta is currently making rounds online after being revealed as the alleged complainant who filed rape case on actor-host Vhong Navarro.
After she claimed that Vhong Navarro attempted to rape her, a photo scandal of Roxanne Cabañero Acosta feasted on various sites.
During her stint on Binibining Pilipinas 2011, Roxanne Cabañero Acosta was disqualified after a photo featuring her nude posed leaked online and as a result, the screening committee of Bb. Pilipinas 2011 decided to eliminate her during the pageant.
Roxanne Cabañero Acosta filed a rape charges against Vhong Navarro on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Pasig City Prosecutor’s Office.
The 24-year-old Roxanne Cabañero Acosta is a former candidate of simultaneous beauty pageants which include the Miss Resorts World Manila, Miss Bikini Philippines 2010 and her winning streak on Miss Mandaue in Cebu City.
Roxanne Cabañero Acosta previously denied that she is the woman behind the extreme nudity photos. She even asked the help of the National Bureau of Investigation to track down the person who uploaded the nude photos on the internet.
Roxanne Cabañero Acosta garnered an instant fame at the time, rumors surfaced that she resigned on the country’s most prominent beauty pageant which turned out that she was disqualified by the event organizers.
Roxanne Cabañero Acosta is a college graduate from University of San Carlos in Cebu City who was featured on GMA-7′s afternoon show, “Wish Ko Lang.”
