May malaking rebelasyon si Tony Calvento, ang award-winning print at broadcast journalist, na sumusubaybay at sumusuporta sa mga kaso na isinampa ni Vhong Navarro laban sa grupo nina Cedric Lee at Deniece Cornejo, ang mga akusado sa pambubugbog sa TV host/comedian sa Forbeswoods Heights Condominium Building, The Fort noong January 22.
Ipinagtapat ni Calvento ang pakikipagtagpo niya sa tao na may koneksyon sa isa sa mga akusado sa Vhong Navarro case na nagnanais daw na sumuko at maging state witness.
Si Calvento ang isa sa mga unang pinasalamatan ni Vhong nang lumabas ang rekomendasyon ng Department of Justice para sampahan ng mga kaso na grave coercion and serious illegal detention sina Cedric, Deniece at ang lima pa nilang mga kasama.
Mula day one, sinuportahan at hindi pinabayaan ni Calvento si Vhong sa paghahanap nito ng katarungan sa pang-aabuso na ginawa sa kanya ng grupo nina Lee at Cornejo.
Sinabi ni Calvento na binigyan siya ni Justice Secretary Leila De Lima ng “green light” para makipag-usap sa tao na kanyang tinutukoy na nangako na isusuko niya ang akusado pagkatapos ng Holy Week.
EXPLOSIVE TESTIMONY. Ayon sa inilathala ni Calvento sa kanyang Facebook page, “The testimony is explosive. The details where, what time and when the planning of the setting up of Vhong Navarro was given to me. The place where they had dinner was also revealed.
“He even made me talk to the suspect on the phone and this person with a deep voice kept on crying and asked me to help him. He asked me to help give him protection.”
SUSPECT SCARED OF CEDRIC LEE. Dagdag pa ni Calvento, “He was very scared of Cedric Lee and I said that Sec. Leila De Lima can assign NBI agents to guard him.
“Finally, the suspect on the other end of the line revealed to me the identity of the JOHN DOE who went with Zimmer Raz and Bernice Lee. He was the one holding the duct tape as viewed through the CCTV in the elevator.
“If things go well the person even added that one of the accused who had managed to slip out of the country is willing to come back and turn the tables on Cedric and the others.”
CALVENTO’S REMINDER. Patuloy pa ni Calvento tungkol sa malaking rebelasyon, “Just want to remind this person that should you change your mind, the Sec. already knows all the details and is processing and evaluating the information you have given me.
“I just don't want people twisting the truth and turning the tables on me later on.

“If the NBI and the PNP don't get to you then the people whom you will squeal on will do so.
“By process of elimination and deductive reasoning they know who you are. You have very little time to make your move. CCTV's are all over the place you mentioned and this vital breakthrough on the case will bolster the Serious Illegal Detention case Vhong had filed.”
