Tom is a talent of Popoy Caritativo, Marian's former manager. Some said that was the reason why the Kapuso actress doesn't want to be paired with the actor.
Marian maintained she never rejects anyone when it comes to work. In her new teleserye, Marian said the story is focused on her and that she will star in it with a child actor.
She cannot reveal yet what the story is all about, although she added GMA-7 did not tell her she will be working with Tom.
"Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggagaling ‘yan, pero wala akong tinatanggihan. Okay naman sa akin kahit sino ang i-partner sa akin."
Who knows, the Kapuso actress said, maybe in her next soap, she will be paired with Tom already. Tom became an instant household name after starring in "My Husband's Lover."
Meanwhile, Tom was also surprised that such rumors are cropping up about him. He doesn't have any problem working with Marian, he said.
Tom doesn't want to comment further though since he is yet to hear a credible source of the issue.
